Mona Fong

Mona Fong was born on Jul 27, 1934 in Republic of China. Mona Fong's big-screen debut came with Lie ren directed by Kô Nakahira in 1969. Mona Fong is known for The King of Masks directed by Tian-Ming Wu, Xu Zhu stars as Bianlian Wang and Renying Zhou as Gou Wa ('Doggie'). The upcoming new movie Mona Fong plays is Corpse Mania which will be released on Oct 07, 2008.

In 1981, Mona Fong was voted to the Board of directors of Shaw Brothers (HK) Ltd. After the closure of the movie studio in 1985, Mona Fong later rose to the position of chairwoman of TVB, Hong Kong's titan television network as well as chief executive for Shaw's remaining motion picture subsidiary Cosmopolitan Film Company and primary shareholder of the Hong Kong's Shaw Brothers Empire second only to Run Run Shaw.
