Mike Beck was born on May 16, 1959 in Sweden. Mike Beck's big-screen debut came with Hjärta av sten directed by Martin Munthe in 2000, strarring Producenten (as Mikael Beckman).

Mikael started out as a journalist on the legendary magazine "Scandinavian Film & Video", but later became chief editor of the Swedish edition of Hustler. He created almost as much debate as Mr Flynt himself, by having suspected Olof Palme-killer Christer Petterson pose naked on a bear skin rug. He also had a Swedish artist make a sex-montage featuring several celebrities faces imposed on naked bodies, which got him sued and forced to pay most of the celebrities a lot of money. He later moved on to film-making, and under the alias "Mike Beck", he has directed several of the best Swedish porn film of the recent years, including "Lustgården" and "Ridskolan". A total of over 300 feature lengths films. As well as beeing publisher/editor of men's magazines like aktuell rapport, Cats, Svenska amatörer, Fib aktuellt and Lektyr for many years.
