Her journey began as a classical ballet dancer in New York City. She danced with the Joffrey Ballet Concert Group, and was chosen to work with Michael Bennett on the creation of the Broadway Show, SCANDAL in her early 20's. Michelle has also performed in numerous high profile TV projects, feature films, campaigns and commercials where her grit, resilience, and drive has enabled her and those around her to flourish.Her work as a speaker, master instructor and workshop leader has taken her around the globe, including to Tokyo, Paris, Toronto, London and Vienna. She has coached, consulted and taught at arts conservatories, colleges and conventions on topics ranging from dance and drama to book and screenwriter pitches and sports entertainment. Since 2021, Michelle Zeitlin has been offering specialty workshops on wellness, with "mind and body" content, in association with leading fitness and dance brands and partnering with major venues such as the Carillon, Miami, with Dr. Paul L. Hokemeyer, leading psychologist and author of FRAGILE POWER. As a talent and literary representative, her clients have included "actors, artists and authors" and she is proud of the development of "people and projects" for original content in all media, including over one million books sold for the deal she negotiated on behalf of author Patrice Karst, THE INVISIBLE STRING, with the publisher, Hachette, Little Brown for Young Readers. As the CEO of More Zap Productions & Management in Los Angeles, her outstanding clients have won a Grammy, Emmy, Spirit and Tony award.Michelle has a B.A. in liberal arts from St. Mary's College in Los Angeles and three decades of dance, drama, film and music training from around the world. Her work is also offered for education, arts and film schools around the world, including residencies at the InStudio School, LA Center Studios and UC Weston, The Space, Australia and PDC in Tokyo, Japan.Zeitlin's own journey began as a classical ballet dancer in New York City. She earned a full scholarship at the Joffrey School in her early teens, and was chosen for the elite Concert Group company soon after. Later on, taking advantage of her early drama training and lots of determination, took another leap into TV, feature films, commercials. Her acting roles include working with, and being hired by Debbie Allen for "Fame," for which she shot the original 13 episodes, series regular/dancer/singer. She guest starred on several prime time TV shows, and performed dozens of lead roles in stage productions across the country, eventually earning her place alongside creator, Michael Bennett ( A Chorus Line ) on the Broadway Workshop, "Scandal." She was selected for a principal role among over two thousand others at the open auditions at 890 Studios in lower Manhattan, and Mr. Bennett called Michelle "Diva," a nickname that resonates.
