Maverick Knox is an author and filmmaker from Bellevue, Nebraska. Knox graduated with a bachelors in Broadcast & Communications with a concentration in creative writing (2016) and a Master of Fine Arts in Film (2020). Between 2012-2016, Knox wrote the epic fantasy trilogy East Gate (Supernatural Academy, Moonlight Blood, & Unhinged), thriller novel Tabanni, apocalyptic novel Tamarrud, and medieval adventure novel Liberation and self published them through Amazon.In 2017 Knox directed and released his first feature length version of Tamarrud. Tabanni has been adapted to a short screenplay entitled "That's My Boy" (2020) which was a graduate thesis film from the University of Central Arkansas.Alongside personal projects, Knox has worked on multiple films as a Digital Imaging Technician, Director of Photography, 1st Assistant Director, 1st Assistant Camera, Key Grip, Editor, Visual Effects Editor, and Sound Mixer
