Masashi Nagadoi was born on Mar 26, 1963 in Japan. Masashi Nagadoi's big-screen debut came with Samurai Salesman directed by Masashi Nagadoi in 1992. Tokyo-born Masashi Nagadoi received a B.A. in International Studies and Economics Business from Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota with International Economics Honor Society (Omicron Delta Epsilon) in 1987, and worked as a management business consultant at Arthur Young International (now Ernst&Young) in Los Angeles before attending UCLA's Graduate Film School. He completed the Spanish Language and Cultural Program in Guadalajara, Mexico in the Summer of 1985, and then in the Winter of 1986, proceeded to study European arts, focusing on Impressionism and architecture in England and France. Selected an All-Minnesota Rugby Football team member as scrum-half in 1986 and 1987, he competed in the Mid-West National Championship in Kentucky in 1986. At UCLA, he was a recipient of the Motion Picture Association of America Award in 1992. He received a M.F.A. in the Spring of 1994. Since the graduation, he has directed a short film, promotional video, and produced numerous Television shows, documentaries, commercials and multimedia projects for the Japanese market. At present he is developing several feature-length projects.
