Marlowe Holden was raised in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She attended the Peggy Dow Helmerich School of Drama at the University of Oklahoma where she received her BFA in Acting. After graduation, she decided to pursue an acting career in New York.She studied under the direction of Terry Schreiber, Bob Krakower, Wendy Makkena, Peter Jensen and others. Marlowe now works in theatre and film as an actor, writer, and producer. She is the recipient of awards for her performances as well as her writing.In 2014, she co-created the web series Hat Trick Bitches (2015) with Nastasia Green and Madeline Chilese. Since then, her work as a writer and actor has appeared on FunnyorDie.com and many other comedy sites.In 2016, she co-founded the production company IngénueWitty Films, which is dedicated to creating stories for and about women and minorities.
