Award-winning, Emmy-nominated writer, producer and director Mark Banker began his career while attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a writer, national advertising director and associate publisher for the satirical newspaper, The Onion. After graduating, Banker relocated to Los Angeles to pursue TV and film work. He has written, produced and directed for a variety of genres, including sitcoms (Spin City, Battery Park), feature film (Fantasy Football, Common Enemy), reality (The Osbournes), stage (General Admissions) and even foul-mouthed puppets (Crank Yankers). But Banker's specialty is animation. His animation credits include Adventure Time, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Duck Dodgers, Beware the Batman and Clarence. In 2016, Banker became head writer for the Dreamworks Animation series The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants.Banker graduated with honors, Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi from UW-Madison, earning degrees in Journalism, Advertising and Integrated Liberal Studies. He is married to actress Tisha Terrasini Banker. The couple has two children, Athena and Atticus, and a dog, Ookla.
