Marina Alexandrovna Zhigalova is a Russian investor and entrepreneur, managing shareholder of Independent Media Holding, founder and CEO of Disney in Russia and the CIS from 2006 to 2019.She was born on May 11, 1971 in Moscow in a family of employees of the foreign trade departments of the USSR. In 1994, she graduated from the Faculty of International Economic Relations with a degree in international commerce and law. In 2001 graduated from Harvard Business School, general entrepreneurial management (MBA diploma). Also graduated from the Higher Courses of Scriptwriters and Directors in Moscow. She is raising a son.
