Luis B. Carranco

Luis B. Carranco was born on May 10, 1970 in Mexico. Luis B. Carranco's big-screen debut came with Deep Crimson directed by Arturo Ripstein in 1996. Luis B. Carranco is known for Instructions Not Included directed by Eugenio Derbez, Andrés Vázquez stars as Valentín niño and Hugo Stiglitz as Johnny Bravo. The upcoming new movie Luis B. Carranco plays is Por mis bigotes which will be released on Sep 16, 2015.

Luis B. Carranco is a writer, producer and director of TV series, short and feature films. He went to film School and got a diploma in Film Appreciation at Universidad Iberoamericana and later he attended to Centro de Estudios Audiovisuales and majored in film directing; finally got to the script writing course at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica, C.C.C He wrote the screenplays for "Tenías que ser tú" and the adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's short story "The tell- tale heart" filmed in 2006 and starring Daniel Giménez Cacho. In 2007 he wrote and directed "Cowboys Come Riding" for MCM Studios. From 2008 to 2012 he collaborated with Executive Producer Mónica Lozano in Alebrije Production company as script analyst and project developer. After that, he directed the documentary TV series "Retratos" for Mexico's channel 11. In 2013 he returned to the director's chair in "Ladies Nice" and in 2014 he wrote and directed "De mujer a mujer " starring Susana Alexander, Rocío Verdejo y Juan Ríos Cantú.
