Luciana Paes, graduated from the School of Dramatic Art (EAD/ECA/USP). In 2008, she started at Cia Hiato, a company she is part of to this day, with research work on performative narrativity and the ways of integrating body and voice on stage. Some of the company's works: "Cachorro Morto" (2008); "Escuro" (2010) for which she was nominated for the Shell Award, one of the main Brazilian theater awards in Brazil, in the Best Actress category; "Garden" (2011); "Ficção" (2012) production in which she was also nominated for Shell. All shows were directed by Leonardo Moreira.She made her TV debut in the soap opera "Fina Estampa" (2011) directed by Wolf Maya, "Além do Horizonte" (2013) directed by Ricardo Waddington, "Espelho da Vida" (2018) directed by Pedro Vasconcelos and "The more life, the better" ( 2021), with general direction by Pedro Brenelli and artistic direction by Allan Fiterman, his most recent soap opera, all produced and broadcast by TV Globo, the largest broadcaster in Brazil. The partnership with the director continued in the feature film "Apart Horta" in 2015. In 2010, she starred in the short film "A Mão que afaga" directed by Gabriela Almeida Amaral, receiving the Candango for Best Actress in Brasília in 2012.Still, in cinema, she was part of the cast of the features "Symphony of the Necropolis" (2014), directed by Juliana Rojas; "Mãe só há Uma" (2016) directed by Anna Muylaert; "Malasartes" (2017) directed by Paulo Morelli; "Divorcio 190" (2017) directed by Pedro Amorim and "O Animal Cordial" (2017) where she is the protagonist of the film. In 2016, she received the Kikito Award for Best Actress for the feature film "Aquele Cinco Segundos", directed by Felipe Saleme, and "A Sombra do Pai", directed by Gabriela Amaral Almeida. Her last feature films were "Galeria Futuro" (2021) directed by Fernando Sanches and Afonso Poyart, "Deus Não Erra" with the general direction of filmmaker Afonso Poyart, "Uma Quase Duo" (2018) directed by Marcus Baldini.
