Lizzy (Elizabeth) Kay was born 1 June 2001 in Perth, Western Australia. Her first television role was for The Great Mint Swindle (2012). Lizzy worked on a number of short films and feature films including Aéro Kids (2014) starring Sam Worthington and Ed Oxenbould. In July 2014 Lizzy moved to Los Angeles with her family as her father is a climate change expert and her mother a writer. Lizzy starred in the short film Elle (2015) with Cameron Daddo and Lara Lihiya and won two acting awards at IndieFest and LA Independent Film Festival and a nomination for the 38th Annual Young Artist Awards for her lead role as Anna. Elle screened internationally at Cinema Des Antipodes Film Festival, St Tropez and at Les Rencontres Cinématographiques de Cannes where it was made 'Le film de jour,' Film of the day, as well as at CinefestOz in Australia.
