She is active at the DGA, appointed by President Tommy Schlamme to the DGA PAC Leadership Council and the Special Projects Committee, as well as being elected twice as Co-chair of the DGA Asian American Committee. Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, she has a BA in Theatre from UCLA. She is married to Grammy-nominated Concord Recording artist, Boney James.
