Liam Andrew Wright is a writer and director from Manchester Uk. He attended the University of York reading English and Philosophy before starting his production company, Banter Media (formerly Petela Wright Films). He began his career working on Human Residue as a camera operator before eventually turning his hand to directing. He directed several shorts and music videos whilst at university before graduating. The summer after he graduated he began principal photography on his debut feature film, Ex Cathedra. Since, he has relocated to Manchester where he is looking to expand Banter Media into other areas of the media. Banter Media has now developed into a one-stop in-house media company. Wright is quoted as saying that you should always shoot for the stars and thrive to be the best at anything you do. It is that determination that has got him this far in such a short space of time. As of March 2010 working on a football documentary as well as writing the script for this next feature and beginning production on a new t.v. drama series (working title: Streets Above).
