Laura New was born in Sydney, Australia. She grew up singing, dancing and acting at an early age, performing at the Sydney Olympics and with the Australian Theatre for young people. She performed in many local Sydney theater productions and attended The University of NSW graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in theatre studying at the prestigious NIDA, before moving to Los Angeles. Early in her career, she filmed 'Four Dragons' with Lionsgate and made numerous guest appearances in television series such as Shake it up, Sin City Saints and web series Smoky Knights.
