Konstantin Shayne was born on Nov 29, 1889 in Ukraine]. Konstantin Shayne's big-screen debut came with Bulldog Drummond in Africa directed by Louis King in 1938, strarring Plane Saboteur (uncredited). Konstantin Shayne is known for Vertigo directed by Alfred Hitchcock, James Stewart stars as John 'Scottie' Ferguson and Kim Novak as Madeleine Elster. The upcoming new movie Konstantin Shayne plays is Joy in the Morning which will be released on May 05, 1965.

The brother of actress Tamara Shayne, he was to join the Moscow Arts Theatre, but World War I intervened, and then he fought with General Wrangell and the White Armies. Although he received few significant roles, he was outstanding in Rien qu'un coeur solitaire (1944) as Ike Weber and in Le criminel (1946) as Gen. Meinike, where his character dominates the first 15 minutes of the film. His performance in Danny Kaye's La vie secrète de Walter Mitty (1947) is also highly regarded. His performance in Pour qui sonne le glas (1943) was considered outstanding, but was cut from the release print. Not an ambitious actor, Shayne was dedicated to his family, including his second wife, Marjorie.
