Kim Evey is an LA-based actress, writer, and comedian. She began her career in Seattle as a founding member of the critically acclaimed long-form improv group Kings' Elephant Theater and as a guest cast member on the Emmy-winning sketch comedy show Almost Live! (1984).In LA, Kim has studied at The Groundlings and taught sketch comedy writing at ACME Comedy Theater. She has written for children's animation and appeared in numerous commercials and television shows. Beginning in 2007, she created and starred in two seasons of the web series Gorgeous Tiny Chicken Machine Show (2007) for Sony Pictures Television as one of six series debuting on their new Crackle site. She went on to produce six seasons of Felicia Day's trailblazing series The Guild (2007), a web show so successful that it was actually displayed in The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in 2019 with several items from the show being added to the museum's permanent collection. Kim is an award-winning member of the Producer's Guild of America.Clips of Kim's standup have been viewed online over eight million times. She has been a featured storyteller on "The Story Collider" and "Based on a True Story" and you can hear her tell the tale of both her and her son's adoptions on "The Shameless Mom" and "Don't Call Me Ma'am" podcasts.
