Kevin Tempel was born on Nov 16, 1976 in Norway. Kevin Tempel's big-screen debut came with Kufferten directed by Charlotte Madsen in 2012, strarring Tysk soldat.

Kevin Jarl Barlien Tempel was born in Tromso in Northern Norway. His debut was the short film 'Just Say No' (2000), a rather crazy slap-stick-like short film which aired first on Norwegian television, and consequently received many good reviews. During the making of this film, he also set up the film company Team Tempel film productions DA in Norway with Krister Brandser and Eystein Pedersen and associate members R. Allen Leider of Black Cat Media Associates, USA and Tore Christensen. For their next short film they set a goal to make a film worthy of a worldwide theatrical release. While building up his humanitarian organization The Children of Bulgaria Foundation, which seeks to aid homeless street children and mentally challenged in Bulgaria,Kevin Tempel has earned one nomination in "The man of the year award" in his home city Tromsø, this was in 2003. He has also won two awards for his humanitarian work with the poor children in Bulgaria. One radio award set a new record for listener voters who voted for him. The other Award is "The care about Award" given by the football club in Tromso, also for his humanitarian work with poor children in Bulgaria.In February 2007 he married Sofiya Koleva Atanasova in Bulgaria. Together they have now three children. Alexander Kevin Tempel, Nicolai Tempel and Oliver Tempel. They all now live in Denmark.The surname Tempel, is an old Holland name, and according to his Aunts research they are related to the Temple family and the great star Shirley Temple.
