Born and raised in Tampa, FL, veteran character actor and comic, Kenny Alfonso is a regular on film and TV often seen playing detectives, doctors and lawyers opposite some of the industries top talent including Academy Award winning Actors and Directors. He is also known for his distinct characters in a variety of unique roles especially playing the villain or comic relief. Some of his credits include Dopesick, The Thing About Pam, Jerry and Marge Go Large and The Founder. He's guest-starred in NCIS - New Orleans, The Resident, Creepshow, Hightown and Prison Break to name a few. He has had recurring roles in Nashville, Long Slow Exhale, Stargirl, Saints and Sinners, The Have and Have Nots, Marry Me, as well as 6 seasons on Drop Dead Diva. He has performed on sketch comedy and improv stages from coast to coast and his commercial credits are 80 plus and counting. He continues to write comedy with his partner since 1999, actress Melissa Ponzio, (Chicago Fire, Teen Wolf, Walking Dead) who he admits is much funnier.
