Julian Grey is an American actor. He is known for his roles in the action sci-fi film The Matrix Resurrections (2021); the drama horror film The Craft: Legacy (2020); the comedy drama film Downhill (2020); and the western limited series Godless (2017).Julian Grey was born in Los Angeles and holds dual citizenship in the United States and Germany. He has a twin sister, an older brother, and an older half sister.Grey started his acting career in 2016, by appearing in the television series Wayward Pines as the troubled 10 year old Jason, son of Nurse Pam (Melissa Leo).In 2017, Grey appeared in six of seven episodes of Netflix's limited series Godless as William McNue, son of town sheriff Bill McNue (Scoot McNairy) and nephew of Mary Agnes (Merritt Wever). Produced and directed by Scott Frank, Godless was named one of 2017's ten best shows by 'Vanity Fair' and 'The Washington Post.'In 2019, he started his career in films with his first major role opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell in Searchlight Pictures remake of Swedish film Force Majeure set in the Austrian Alps. Directed by Nat Faxon and Jim Rash, Grey portrayed Finn, the fearless snow skiing son of Louis-Dreyfus and Ferrell. The movie premiered at Sundance 2020. In 2019, Grey was also cast in Blumhouse's The Craft: Legacy as the youngest son Abe, and the only ally to Lilly (Cailee Spaeny) among Adam's (David Duchovny) three sons. The film directed by Zoe Lister-Jones, originally slated for a theatrical release, premiered in October 2020 on premium VOD in North America (where theaters were closed due to a global pandemic).In 2021, Grey appeared in The Matrix Resurrections, directed by Lana Wachowski, opposite Carrie Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves playing Brandon, the teenage son of Carrie Anne's character Tiffany (Trinity). Grey filmed in both San Francisco and Berlin and trained extensively with the stunt team for several weeks before filming.
