Julia was born in Cheshire, England. She got her first taste for the stage at 11 when she was cast as a Babe in the Pantomime 'Babes In The Wood'. After her parents divorced she moved to Bedfordshire and attended the academically acclaimed 'Bedford School for Girls". Evenings and weekends she trained at London Contemporary Dance School and spent summers studying Shakespeare at the Oxford School of Drama. At 17 she was nominated to be an exchange student in the US (Philadelphia). Feeling at home in the states Julia decided to go to college here and was accepted to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. She has also enjoyed study at the Groundlings and Second City. Now pursuing film and television roles (Julia made her primetime debut on "Spin City") she still loves the feeling of a live performance and tries to do as much theatre as possible.
