Always willing to put his heart into his work, Josh Garcia is a filmmaker who moves swiftly through the set. When in charge of the production, he believes in perfecting each scene and keeping the cast ready and excited to make the picture. Primarily a writer and director, he has developed expertise all around the set, camera operating, both for screen and stage. While born in Los Angeles, California, he grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania. An avid football and baseball player in his youth, he earned 4 varsity letters in high school. When off the field, he discovered his love for filmmaking and film history after friends and teammates found joy in his natural, charismatic storytelling abilities. He went on to earn his degree in Film and Media Arts at Temple University. While studying at Temple, he made short films, shot promotions, filmed concerts, and edited projects. In his senior year, after interning with several companies in Los Angeles, he performed in front of a live studio audience for the sketch comedy series, "Temple Smash." That same year, the short film he wrote and directed, "It Just Comes," was selected for the Temple Film Collective Finale Film Festival, where it received high praise. Garcia builds his career in online media, television, and cinemas. He states that emotion is the most important factor in capturing a great film, and he focuses on emotion in each project that he creates.
