Joseph Lefevre was born on Jan 21, 1977 in Italy. Joseph Lefevre's big-screen debut came with Chiamatemi Francesco - Il Papa della gente directed by Daniele Luchetti in 2015.

In 1995 he graduated from the artistic high school of Porto San Giorgio (Fermo), then two years later in 1997 he completed his studies in directing in the prestigious NUCT film school in Rome. In the same year, he won the special mention at the Cinecitta Film Festival with his first 16mm short film entitled "I would like to speak with Pacino". In 2004 he was selected at the Venice Film Festival his second work in super 16mm entitled "Full_Circle", finishing in second place. In 2006 he began working on his first super 35mm feature film for the web entitled "Said", ending post-production in 2007. In 2010, after several video clips and commercials in prime time (one meet - Canale 5) he was hired as artistic director at the film school Officina D'Arte in Rome and as a teacher of direction at the NUCT. In 2011 he has done the post-production of the docu-fiction "Nightlife" the origins of House Music. In 2012, the production of Diving Helmet - Marching On Videoclip (Mtv), and various company commercials, ends. In 2013/14 he founded the Visual Forum X, an internationally recognized artistic collective (testimonial Victor Perez, Donatello prize). In 2015 he worked at the Makinarium - special and visual effects (Nicola Sganga, Donatello prize). From 2015 to 2018 he supervised the production of the special effects of three feature films for the Fell Center production (Rai Cinema Distribution). Director of Veritatis Splendor, a Production Company, he is also a director and VFX artist, creator together with Giuliano Gasparotti, Francesco Mazzei, and Antonio Cinque of the innovative "Cupola - Virtual Stage" system for film and audiovisual productions. As director and supervisor of post-production, editing and VFX, he created, among others, the Tim 2019 commercial, the video M9 - Museo del 900 di Mestre, "Leonardo's Dream" - VR in 8K, the Helvetia 2019 commercial.As a director, he made the feature films "La Natura degli Angeli", "Una Magia Saracena", "Il Giardino dei Numeri" and the "La Direzione del Tempo" and the "Art Detective" a TV program for Rai Storia. He organized Victor Perez's Nuct Masterclass, in 2014 within the Visual Forum X of Rome; he is a professor of direction, filmmaker, stereoscopic VR for film productions for various schools and institutes. He has Teached at the New University of Cinema and Television NUCT in Rome.
