Jorgo Papavassiliou was born on Jul 01, 1968 in Greece. Jorgo Papavassiliou's big-screen debut came with Shark Attack in the Mediterranean directed by Jorgo Papavassiliou in 2004.

Jorgo is a multilingual (English, German, Greek, and French) director and scriptwriter. He was born in a small town in Greece. He spent his childhood in Greece before his family moved to Germany. He attended Highschool in Canby Oregon USA and in Welzheim, Germany. After his graduation from Highschool, he studied Communications and Film. He studied communication sciences from his intermediate diploma at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany. 1998 Jorgo completed his directing studies at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in Germany. After his communication and film studies, he became one of the most famous German-Greek directors and scriptwriters in Europe, especially in Germany and Greece. Recently he directed all the episodes of two TV mini-series in Greece, "42 °C" and "Card Postal". Numerous film festival awards and huge successes with films, event movies, DVD films, and features, show the world the international visual language and directorial quality of Jorgo. Jorgo dominates most film genres and does so with a great passion for cinema and professionalism packaged into one. Currently, it is scheduled to direct the "The S.O.S. Christmas" and "Never Love Again". More offers for directing and producing are on the table for negotiation.
