Jordan Elizabeth Gelber - is a New York City based Actress, Producer, and Entrepreneur. An avid lover of the performing and creative arts, she knew at an early age that her life would be forever entwined with her desire to perform--from putting on shows in her parents' kitchen when she was a kid to playing numerous roles both onstage and off.Her passion for the arts was fueled by her love of books, plays, poetry, and music. She grew up reading Tennessee Williams, Shakespeare, Ernest Hemingway, Robert Frost, the Harry Potter Series, and Charles Bukowski.It was when her mother shared her favorite movie, "Gigi" with Leslie Caron, that Jordan's love for acting was born.It was when she saw Carla Gugino on Broadway in "Suddenly Last Summer," that became the catalyst to beginning her Acting Career after several years in a performing arts high school. Jordan graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in 2010 with a B.A in Graphic Design and Communication Arts, she been working professionally as an actress since 2007.Her most recent roles include the feature films Money Game, The Elevator Game, and the award-winning short film, "Legit" in which she also wrote, directed, and produced.From 2011-2014, Jordan was a founding member of the award-winning Russian Jewish Theater Company, The Lost & Found Project. An experimental docu-theatre troupe that created original stage productions based on the Verbatim Technique. As an affiliate of the FolksbeineRU, a partnership initiative of the Genesis Philanthropy Group and National Yiddish Theatre-Folksbiene, Jordan had the opportunity to tour throughout the United States, Canada, and Russia.Since 2018, Jordan has been a member of the bi-coastal theater company, Theatre 68, founded by Ronnie Marmo. When she isn't acting, Jordan continues her need to create and help others break into the entertainment industry with her innovative platform, Aperteur. Through her company she empowers creators and filmmakers to take more control over what happens with their creative assets.She continues to run her marketing firm, Starbaby Enterprises, from her NYC apartment and launched her podcast, "Content & Consequences," with Rogue Matter during the 2020 pandemic in hopes of educating future actors, producers, and filmmakers on the industry.Along with her entrepreneurial and creative efforts, Jordan pursues her dream role as a part of the Fantastic Beasts' films and campaigns on her social platforms her desire to be a part of the Wizarding World franchise.
