Jon Wolf, who was born on May 2, 1980 in Los Angeles, attended Crossroads High School for the Arts and Sciences and Yale University, where he graduated in 2002 with degrees in History and Theater.During the summer of 2001, Jonathan appeared in two productions of Gorilla Repertory Theater's Shakespeare in the Park in NYC. He played Montano in "Othello" and was cast in the leading role of Bottom in "A Midsummer Night's Dream."While attending Crossroads High School in Santa Monica where he studied in that school's renowned drama conservatory, Jonathan was discovered by television writer/producer Dennis Cooper (Miami Vice, Chicago Hope), who was making his feature film debut as a writer/director.Dennis cast Jonathan in the role of Jamie Randall, a prep school bully in the film "Academy Boyz." At 16, Jonathan was the youngest member of a cast that included future stars such as Donald Faison (Scrubs), Jay Paulson (October Road), Kristana Loken (Terminator 3), as well as veteran actor Ed Asner.Most recently, Jonathan portrayed the role of Byron, a struggling young artist, in "Portrait of Eve," an independent film currently in post-production.Jonathan is also a published journalist and accomplished writer. Starting at age 14, he began writing professionally for the national news magazine, "Tomorrow's Morning," for which we penned many film reviews and interviews over the course of 4 years.While writing for "Tomorrow's Morning," Jonathan interviewed many actors and celebrities, including: Haley Joel Osment, Jenna Malone, Anna Paquin, Shaquille O'Neal, Keenan and Kel from Nickelodeon's "The Keenan and Kel Show," and many, many more.Jonathan has also written numerous articles for "Variety," and has contributed to "The Wall Street Journal" and "The Trubador," a Princeton University publication.In the last two years, Jonathan has completed two screenplays and is currently working on a pilot.
