His work in the independent motion picture field includes producing and directing Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare (1987), Black Roses (1988) and The Jitters (1989). Fasano began his career as a motion picture research editor for Time/Life's TV Cable Week and from 1983 through 1986 he was a magazine editorial director.
