Born in Toronto, Canada, Jeff is an award-winning filmmaker. He is a graduate of Queens University, and has professional film training from the respected New York University's Tisch Film School. He has an international background in media business development. As a child filmmaking always intrigued him. When he was eight years old his father brought home the JVC Video MovieMaker, one of the first recreational home video cameras. Using this camera he made many stop motion short films as well as small documentaries. But it was not until the .com of 2001, when he was hired by an Online Broadcasting Company, that he started thinking seriously about becoming a full-time filmmaker. Although he was hired to do business development, his talents at production were recognized when he was asked to help out on a show. Within a few months he was being flown internationally to direct multi camera shoots, of live concerts, for some of the biggest musical names in the industry. In 2002 when the .com ended he began working in Toronto's production industry as an assistant director on commercials and independent films, until 2003 when he was accepted into a competitive summer program for directors at the prestigious Tisch School in Manhattan.Since 2001 he has completed six well-received short films (The last being the Bravo Film Dogasaur which has screened, been awarded internationally, and is distributed by Ouat! Media). He has also directed a variety of nationally broadcast commercial spots and internationally broadcast documentaries. In April 2009 he directed his first feature length film, An Insignificant Harvey, which he also wrote and co-produced. The film follows the Journey of Harvey Lippe', a janitor at a bizarre small town ski resort, who also happens to be a little person.Under his company Vitality Media Productions Inc.
