James Pomichter moved to Los Angeles in 1994 to attend Occidental College. He graduated, with distinction, in 1998 earning a degree in Theater and a minor in Film Production. While attending Oxy, he directed a number of film and video projects and acted in a few plays. Early in his career, James worked in different areas of film and theater production under such titles as; Set Carpenter, Lighting Technician, First Assestant Director, Editor, Sound Mixer, Prop Guy, Actor, and even Photo Double to Kurt Russell!More recently, James has become an accomplished actor, playing a lead role in the Sci Fi Channel's original film, SS Doomtrooper, opposite Ben Cross and Corin Nemec. He has also acted in a number of television and film projects including 13 Going on 30, Wicked Wicked Games opposite Tatum O'Neal, and even a super bowl commercial for VISA, where he played Spiderman.James feels that this diversity of experience has helped to make him a well-rounded Actor/Producer with an awareness of techniques both in front of and behind the camera.
