James Devin was born on May 23, 1967 in USA. James Devin's big-screen debut came with Chattahoochee directed by Mick Jackson in 1989, strarring Inmate (uncredited).

James Devin first became involved with acting in 1987. His first acting job was in the film Chattahoochee as one of the hospital inmates. Chattahoochee starred Gary Oldman, Dennis Hopper and Ned Beatty. After that came Coupe De Ville starring Patrick Dempsey, Daniel Stern and Arye Gross. In 1992 he worked on the film Fire In The Sky with Robert Patrick, D.B. Sweeney, James Garner and others. Along the way he did a little theatre and other projects to fill the voids. During the summer of 2002 he worked on a film entitled Misdirected playing the part of Terry who was a strongarm for a bookie. April 2003 brought the completion of Refuge. A film in which Devin played the part of Joe who was a racist and abusive father. In July 2003 he completed work on a film entitled The Desire playing the part of a literary agent named Phil. In September 2003 he played the lead character in a film entitled Faded Into Blue - Confessions of a Serial Killer. His most recent project was that of a Cowboy in a religiously themed film entitled Cowboy Trail. James Devin is currently working on the script for a feature film project that he hopes to shoot sometime in late 2005 or early 2006. He is in colaboration with a writer in the UK.
