A former video store attendant, James Cunningham studied at the Queensland Young Filmmaker's Centre (QPIX) in Brisbane, where he directed his first short film 'Skittles'. He has since been behind numerous film and theatre productions as writer, director and producer - including 'The Sheds', 'Gough', 'Dane', 'The War Room', 'Beneath the Waves' and 'Fernando's Ride'. James is the National Editor of Australian Cinematographer Magazine and founder/owner his own production company, Presidential Productions.
