As a standout high school athlete, Jamal played Division 1 collegiate athletics. While in college, Jamal starred in several local commercials and voice overs. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree. After earning his Bachelor's, Jamal studied theatre at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. He has since performed in the theatre, starred in commercials and done work in TV and in Film.
