Jacques Dutronc was born on Apr 28, 1943 in France. Jacques Dutronc's big-screen debut came with Mado directed by Claude Sautet in 1976, strarring Pierre.

Regardless of being called 'a dilettante of music', Jacques Dutronc became a very popular French singer and composer since the mid-60s. In the early 70s he began his screen career collaborating with such directors as Jean-Luc Godard, Andrzej Zulawski, Claude Lelouch and Maurice Pialat. For his unusual portrayal of Vincent van Gogh in Maurice Pialat's Van Gogh (1991) he was awarded Cesar in 1992. He continues his musical career and in 1995 he recorded the new album called "A part ça".
