He was born in Kansas City, Missouri and attended Van Horn High School and The University of Missouri. He worked for United States Air Force as a civilian and as a Military member. He spent several years abroad in Europe and Asia. He has been involved in martial arts since age 17 and was a member of the Professional Karate Association as a full contact competitor. He is an avid equestrian who trains and rides Gaited horses. He moved to California in 1990 and first became envolved in the Industry in 2000. He first appeared on the TV show Angel, second season finale.
