David Rosenbaum was born on August 31st 1959 and is the second of four children. His mother Vivian has been a psychiatrist since she was a young woman and is to this day. His father Salo was a Jewish German who escaped from the war with his brother and parents, and was also a psychiatrist. David attended Riverdale Country Day School from 5th Grade through 12th Grade. After he graduated from Riverdale he attended Wesleyan University. He met Pamela Parker in acting class and married her ten years later and had one child. When becoming an actor he called himself J.D. Rosenbaum and later changed to David Rhodes(there was another David Rosenbaum listed).
