Hernan Zin is a filmmaker, writer, and war reporter of Italian-Argentinian origin. At age 22, he packed his bag, cameras and hasn't stopped traveling all over the world filming documentaries and writing books. He was worked in more than 80 countries. War, human rights, poverty, and the environment are the main subjects of his work. After living for five years in Asia, he moved to Madrid in 1998. In 2002 he created his company, DOC LAND FILMS, which now has offices in Los Angeles, Dubai, and Sao Paulo. He is also the CEO of POD LAND and of DOC LAND FESTIVAL. He has directed and produced more than 20 documentary films as well as dozens of TV programs for Canal Plus. His work has achieved international recognition in festivals and awards, like Best Documentary Award at the Montreal Film Festival for "Dying to tell", his nomination to the Latin Grammy with "10 años con Bebe" or his 2022 candidacy for the Academy Award with the short film "57 Days".
