Harmon Jones started his career as a film editor at 20th Century-Fox, where he was entrusted with many of the studio's top projects (Le mur invisible (1947), Bonne à tout faire (1948), Anna et le roi de Siam (1946)), but when he turned to directing feature films, his output was far less impressive. After handling mostly low-grade westerns and tepid thrillers, Jones turned to directing TV series in the 1950s, and ended his career there in the 1960s.
