György Kürthy

György Kürthy was born on Feb 24, 1882 in Austria-Hungary [now Hungary]. György Kürthy's big-screen debut came with Az ember néha téved directed by Béla Gaál in 1938, strarring Rendõrtisztviselõ. György Kürthy is known for Lieutenant Rakoczy directed by Frigyes Bán, Tibor Bitskey stars as Bornemissza János hadnagy and Éva Vass as Bíró Anna. The upcoming new movie György Kürthy plays is Lieutenant Rakoczy which will be released on Feb 04, 1954.

He began as an amateur in the Thália Company. In 1906 he entered into engagement with the National Theatre where he played until his retirement. Beside being an actor he also designed as a scenist and directed. He played heroes, character roles and comic figures.
