Gurgen Janibekyan

Gurgen Janibekyan was born on May 30, 1897 in Armenia]. Gurgen Janibekyan's big-screen debut came with Karo directed by Artashes Hay-Artyan in 1937, strarring Amiryan.

He graduated Yerevan Teaching Seminary in 1917. Before joining the Armenian Theatre of Tiflis (Tbilisi) in 1923 he performed in theatrical troupes Zarifyan-Abelyan, Armenyan, Kharazyan.
