Gopi Krishna

Gopi Krishna was born on Aug 22, 1935 in British India. Gopi Krishna's big-screen debut came with Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje directed by Shantaram Rajaram Vankudre in 1955, strarring Girdhar. Gopi Krishna is known for Maitighar directed by B.S. Thapa, Mala Sinha stars as Maya and Chidambar Prasad Lohani as Mohan. The upcoming new movie Gopi Krishna plays is Agnivarsha: The Fire and the Rain which will be released on Aug 30, 2002.

Gopi Krishna was a renowned Kathak dancer and choreographer. He also studied Bharatnatyam. In 1952, at the age of seventeen, Gopi Krishna became one of the youngest choreographers in Hindi film history when he was hired to choreograph dances for Madhubala in [Link=tt0130993]Saqi[/link]. In 1955, he appeared in his first movie
