Giorgio Porcaro was born in Benevento, Campania in 1952 but his family moved toward Milan when he was child, he made his debut at famous Milan theater "il Derby", he became one of the most important cabaret actor in Italy, his first success in the theater was the play written by Enzo Jannacci an Beppe Viola, "da dove vieni tu", where he invented the role of "terrunciello" with typical dialect of a south man, that was carried on the screen by Diego Abatantuono, close friend of Porcaro, but for this reason, the friendship between Porcaro and Diego was compromised, after the end of golden age of cabaret, he arrived on the screen but probably his best film was "Si ringrazia la regione Puglia per averci fornito i Milanesi", he worked with many important Italian actors and directors like Pozzetto, Samperi, Boldi. This happened in early '80, returned on TV screen for private Italian broadcasting but he died in 2002 for cancer, forgotten, after reconciliation with Abatantuono.
