He graduated from the Royal Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 1941.In 1949, he plays first role in the movie Rasuna Valea. Other notable roles in Moara cu noroc (1955) , Dacii (1967),Fratii Jderi (1974). Play on the stage of the theater ''National I.L. Caragiale'' in Bucharest.He has a daughter Anita Barton.He died on June 10, 1982 in Bucharest, Romania.
