Francesco Lucente was born in Italy, but moved to Canada when he was a child. He lived there for a short time, then immigrated to the United States. Francesco was a screenwriter before becoming a director. Francesco wrote and directed numerous short films including, Cloak & Dagger, Paint It Black, and This Old Man before directing motion pictures. Most recently Francesco co-produced, co-wrote the screenplay and directed the motion picture Starbright.
