Fernando Hinojosa was born on Oct 02, 1982 in Mexico. Fernando Hinojosa's big-screen debut came with Guardians of Oz directed by Alberto Mar in 2015.

Born in Campeche (October 2nd, 1982) and raised in Acapulco, México. Began his career as a indie TV producer and host. in 2006 he started working in Televisa, Mexico's most important television company (and Latinamerica's at the time). Between 2008 and 2010 he wrote for, drew, edited, distributed and promoted the indie comic book anthology "La Pangolina" and began his teaching career in August, 2010, when enlisting in Monterrey's Technologycal Institute "Tec",where he taught animation, character design, drawing, language and audiovisual narrative, digital video post-production and some workshops. By 2011 he became and executive producer for a little animation studio called "The Light Community" where he produced and co-directed three animated music videos as well. A year later, in 2012 he started working for Anima Estudios (later "Anima"), Latinamerica's most important animation studio. First as a visual development artist, then as an Art Director and Layout Supervisor, Voice Actor, Creative Consultant, Storyboard Artist and Episodes Director. In the studio he got to work in some in-house features, shorts, pilots, tests and for some international series they manufactured such as Nick's Pig, Goat, Banana, Cricket; Adult Swim's Apollo Gauntlet and Netflix's Legend Quest (both seasons). He's now producing and co-hosting the podcast "Viñetas por Segundo" (Vignettes by the second) with Renata Garcia and he also continues teaching when he gets the chance to do it.
