Farren Monet

actress, producer, writer

Farren Monet was born on Nov 08, 1987 in USA. Farren Monet's big-screen debut came with A Dog of Flanders directed by Kevin Brodie in 1999.

Farren Monet Danielle Brodie was born in Malibu, California to child actor turned writer/director/producer, Kevin Brodie and actress/model Joanna Dierck. She is the third generation of actors in her family and spent most of her childhood growing up on movie sets. Her grandfather, Steve Brodie, starred in numerous films and television shows, including the great film noir classic, "Out of the Past"(1947) . Farren had her first taste of film-making when she was just a little girl on the set of one of her father's films, where he gave her the responsibility of calling "action", as well as featuring her in small roles. She went on to study with profound acting coach Ivana Chubbuck for her first lead in the Warner Brother's film, A Dog of Flanders (1999), alongside Jon Voight and the late Jack Warden. After wrapping, she returned to her LA based middle school to finish her studies and be a normal kid; but couldn't stay away from her love for acting, participating in all of her school's theater productions, including "The Music Man" and "Peter Pan", where she landed the role as "Wendy Darling". Farren went on to study film history in college, as well as attending DGA q&a(s) with her Dad; soaking up as much knowledge as she could from the industry's top/seasoned directors. Per her father's advice, Farren immersed herself in learning just about every aspect of filmmaking, only enhancing her skills as an actress; she has written, produced, cast, directed, and edited short films as well as a pitch for an original TV series she created, based on her life and experiences growing up in Los Angeles as the daughter of parents in the industry. The series is in its early stages of development(2019). Farren is a student at The Groundlings School(2019).
