Fahmi Farahat was born on Oct 09, 1981 in Saudi Arabia. Fahmi Farahat's big-screen debut came with Making Maya directed by Rolla Selbak in 2003.

Saudi-German producer and director Fahmi Farahat graduated in 2006 from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Radio, TV & Film. In the States, Farahat gained experience in different workflows including 16 and 35mm. He produced and directed many award winning films. He also served as an editor and Assistant Director on multiple independent feature films. In 2012, Farahat relocated to Saudi Arabia hopping to become a critical part of the Saudi and GCC Cinema movement. His work includes a number of award winning narratives and documentaries. Fahmi Farahat works as a production director for Saudi Aramco's Media Production Division, PR Department, Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
