Her family lived in the Laurelton area of Queens, New York. Her mother and father, always the celebrants, promoted festivities with family and friends, and encouraged Fabiola to dance and express her creativity at their frequent soirées. Because of her West Indian heritage, Fabiola grew up hearing French and Creole and learned to speak, read, and write these languages fluently, along of course, with her native language English making her trilingual. Growing up in this environment, a love and respect for music blossomed early in Fabiola, especially Hip-Hop, given that several legends such as LL Cool J, Run of Run DMC, and Pepa of Salt-n-Pepa lived in her neighborhood. Understanding her daughter's destiny to make her mark as an entertainer, Fabiola's mom exposed her to a wide variety of classes including tap, ballet, dance, singing, and piano. In the late eighties, Fabiola's family moved to Orlando, Florida; here, Fabiola was often approached by modeling and talent agents asking if she was in the business. Although Fabiola was only 10 years old, her mother continued her training and enrolled her in acting school at Barbizon Talent Agency and modeling school at John Casablanca's Modeling Agency. This hard work paid off; when she was thirteen years old, she made her debut as a model for J.C. Penney and this spawned years of lucrative modeling job opportunities.Fabiola's parents were strong advocates of education, and stressed its importance to their children; therefore, after graduating high school, Fabiola went on to complete her B.A. in Mass Media Arts (Mass Communications), with a concentration in Radio, TV and Film at Clark Atlanta University finishing with a GPA of 3.5. Fabiola has also appeared in several hit television series including CSI-NY and Tyler Perry's House of Payne.
