Emma Vilarasau was born on Apr 06, 1959 in Spain. Emma Vilarasau's big-screen debut came with The Nameless directed by Jaume Balagueró in 1999.

Emma Vilarasau was raised in Sant Cugat de Vallès, Spain. In 1980 she completed her studies at l'Institut del Teatre de la Diputació de Barcelona and went on to further her knowledge in seminars and other courses with figures like Strasberg or Gandolfo. A good part of her career is linked with the Teatre Lliure company, but she also played at other places. Emma's career took a turn when she played the role of Eulàlia Montsolís in TV3 series, called Nissaga de Poder (Dynasty of Power). She became one of the most popular actresses in Catalonia. In 1999 she made her fist movie as a protagonist named Los Sin Nombre (The Nameless). In 2000 she was back to the stage again with the role of Blanche Dubois in the play A Streetcar Named Desire. She is one of the best actresses in Catalan theatre today.
