Emiliano Romero (1979, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a multi awarded film director owner of his very own particular aesthetic. He was nominated for an Oscar for his first student short-film. He was selected for the Berlinale Talent Campus 2006. Emiliano has won 56 awards at international film festivals. The most noteworthy are Clermont-Ferrand 2003, New York City International Film Festival 2012, and Fantaspoa 2012. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Film Direction from Universidad del Cine. Since 1998, he has worked as a director and producer in 6 feature films, 70 short films, 10 TV series and several music videos, dance videos and advertisements. In 2006, he founded the first Argentine School of Acting in Film, where he was responsible for the training of over 700 actors and actresses. In 2012, to deal with the oncoming film distribution problems of the time, he also created the alternative film screening company "No solo en cines" (Not Only in Theatres). He has participated in 13 international film festivals as a jury member. He has his own YouTube channel with millions of views and thousands of subscribers. He also works as a remote video editor, cameraman and freelance director for ESPN, NBA, and several production companies. In 2018 he was the Motion Capture Performance Director of the animation feature film "Gilgamesh". Currently, Emiliano specializes in filming music (classical music, jazz and rock).
