Edit Angold

Edit Angold was born on Sep 01, 1895 in Germany. Edit Angold's big-screen debut came with What Men Know directed by Gerhard Lamprecht in 1933. Edit Angold is known for The Goldbergs directed by Walter Hart, Gertrude Berg stars as Molly Goldberg and Philip Loeb as Jake Goldberg. The upcoming new movie Edit Angold plays is The Ambushers which will be released on Dec 22, 1967.

Edit Angold was born Edit Goldstandt in Berlin, and received her education in that city and in Geneva, Switzerland. She began her acting career on the German stage and emigrated to the US in 1924, where she appeared in many German-language stage productions in New York. She alternated between working in the US and Germany for many years, finally settling in New York in 1932. She headed to Los Angeles in 1940 and had an extensive career on stage, film, radio and television. She died in Hollywood in 1971.
