Easton John Dufur was born in Tacoma, Washington to Kathy (McConnel) Dufur, who is a physical therapist, and Ronny Dufur, who is a sales associate for the sports apparel company Bucks Bags. After Easton turned 3, he and his family moved to Meridian, Idaho. Easton grew up loving movies but never thought to pursue it as a career. Growing up he wanted to chase a dream of playing college basketball until he attended Rocky Mountain High School where he found a great love for his drama class. At the end of his Junior year of high school, he found his love for film and ever since then, he, with tremendous support from his parents, friends and teachers, has been obsessively pursuing his dream of becoming a filmmaker.
